This Schiava from old vines represents the interpretation of Umberto, a young producer from the hills of Pressano, north of Trento. This historic variety, also known as Vernatsch in South Tyrol, finds its most authentic expression in this bottle.

The vines, aged between 40 and 70 years and grown between 350 and 500 meters above sea level, describe the splendid landscape of the Pressano hills and give the wine an extraordinary intensity and complexity.

Tasting notes

Transparent ruby ​​red colour. The nose is fruity with hints of small red fruits and a light spiciness. On the palate it leaves a dry and soft taste.

Production method

Pressing and maceration in open tonneaux for 15 days, maturation for 12 months in barriques and subsequent refinement in the bottle for at least 6 months.
