Pief, which means "church" in the local dialect, represents the small church of the village of Santa Croce, an essential meeting point for the inhabitants of this small village. The wine ferments together with its skins in the terracotta amphorae of Maso Caliari, characterized by a refined aroma and a beautiful coppery colour.

Note di degustazione

Copper color and fruity aroma with hints of white peach and wild flowers. On the palate it is soft and light, pleasantly fresh and with an almond finish.

    Try it in combination with some delicious Spin-corn polenta croutons from Valsugana, accompanied by porcini mushrooms and Grana Trentino Dop cream.

  • Metodo di produzione

    The grapes, once destemmed, ferment in terracotta amphorae. At the end of this phase, the skins are removed and the wine continues its refinement in amphora for 6 months. Subsequently, the maturation process continues in 220 liter wooden barrels for a further 6 months, until the moment of bottling is reached.
