Maor is an ancient native white grape variety historically present in Val di Non and at the beginning of Val di Sole and registered since 2009 in the national register of vine varieties and parent, together with Biancaccia, of Lagarino Bianco.
A long history and a deep commitment to preserving the family vineyards inspired Lorenzo Zadra to found the EL Zeremia winery, continuing the work started by his father Augusto, to whom this wine is dedicated. Also known in the area as the white Groppello, it is interesting to note that Maor in Noneso dialect means "first hay", a detail that makes the label even more evocative with a farmer harvesting the grass with a scythe.
