Vallagarina Rosato IGT “Riflesso Rosi” 2022 – Eugenio Rosi

Vallagarina Rosato IGT “Riflesso Rosi” 2022 – Eugenio Rosi

Il Riflesso Rosi 2022 is the fruit of the dedication of Eugenio Rosi, an oenologist who in 1997 chose to devote himself to artisanal viticulture. An artisan winemaker who decided to produce balanced wines that respect and enhance the territorial provenance. Located in the suggestive Vallagarina, the company benefits from an ideal microclimate and fertile soils that give the wine a unique personality. The labels, personally designed by his wife Tamara, reflect the simplicity and essence of the wines produced, embodying the profound meaning that wine has for the Rosi family.

Tasting notes

Riflesso Rosi 2022 presents a dark pink color and brilliant ruby reflections. On the nose, aromas of small red fruits, such as raspberry and wild strawberry, are distinguishable. On the palate it is juicy, fresh and savory, with a harmonious structure and a persistent finish.

Pairings

Served chilled, this rosé pairs beautifully with light appetizers, such as tomato bruschetta. It is ideal with fish dishes, such as mixed grill or seafood salad, and with grilled white meats. For a more sophisticated pairing, try it with sushi or oriental dishes, where its freshness enhances spicy and delicate flavors.

Production method

The vinification of Riflesso Rosi 2022 follows a careful and respectful process of the grapes. The alcoholic fermentation takes place with the use of indigenous yeasts, preserving the link with the territory and its unique characteristics. The red grapes undergo an initial maceration of 2 days, during which delicate aromas and pigments are extracted. Subsequently, exhausted Nosiola and Pinot Bianco pomace are added, starting a second maceration of 30 days, which enriches the wine with aromatic complexity and structure.
The refinement takes place for 12 months in stainless steel, a fundamental step to preserve the freshness and vivacity of the wine, guaranteeing a balanced product ready to be appreciated.
