Cantina Rotaliana in Mezzolombardo is the beating heart of the Trentino winemaking tradition. Founded in 1931 and located in the splendid Piana Rotaliana, the winery brings together more than 300 contributing members who passionately work around 450 hectares of vineyards, making the most of the peculiarities of the territory. Piana Rotaliana, renowned for its alluvial and gravelly soils, is the ideal place for growing Teroldego, the native grape variety that is the symbol of Trentino. Note di degustazione
The Teroldego Rosato 2023 has a delicate pale pink color. Fresh notes of strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate stand out on the nose, accompanied by a light floral hint. On the palate it is fresh and lively, with a pleasant acidity and a balanced structure that makes it extremely versatile and easy to drink. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant fruity aftertaste.

Served chilled (10-12°C):
Perfect for light appetizers, such as salmon cream crostini or vegetarian canapés. It pairs beautifully with fish dishes, such as tuna carpaccio, grilled shrimp or salmon tartare, as well as summer salads and vegetarian dishes, such as couscous with vegetables or a courgette quiche.

Served at red wine temperature (16-18°C):
Ideal to accompany more structured dishes, such as grilled or roasted white meats, creamy risottos with radicchio, or even second courses with mushroom sauces. The slightly higher temperature enhances the structure and fruity notes of the wine, making it a perfect companion also for a platter of Trentino cured meats. -
Metodo di produzione
The Teroldego grapes, harvested by hand in the vineyards of Piana Rotaliana, are processed with great care to enhance freshness and aromas. The must is obtained both by direct pressing of the grapes and by the raising of the cap method, which allows for the extraction of delicate shades of color and aromas. Fermentation occurs in a balanced way, divided between barriques and stainless steel tanks, ensuring harmony between structure and freshness.
After fermentation, the wine rests on its lees for 5 months, developing complexity and a velvety texture. The wine then ages in the bottle for up to 3 months, to ensure optimal balance before release.
