Tasting notes

The Teroldego Etichetta Rossa 2023 has a bright ruby red color. On the nose, fresh notes of red fruits emerge, such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by hints of violet and a light hint of spice. On the palate it is soft and harmonious, with a vibrant freshness and delicate tannins that make it pleasantly balanced and very drinkable.

Pairings

This Teroldego pairs perfectly with tasty first courses, such as Teroldego risotto or gnocchi with meat sauce. It is ideal with grilled or roasted white meats and Trentino cured meats, such as speck and mortandela. It is also excellent with semi-mature cheeses or vegetarian dishes rich in flavor, such as eggplant parmigiana or a vegetable flan.

Production method

The Teroldego grapes are harvested manually in the vineyards of Piana Rotaliana, selecting the best bunches to guarantee quality and aromatic expression. The vinification takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, to preserve the freshness and fruity aromas. After a short maturation in steel, the wine is refined in the bottle to enhance its softness and balance.
