Dorigati's Trentino Lagrein Dunkel is the result of a project which sees the cultivation of five different Lagrein clones in the Casetta area: two selected by the Institute of St. Michele All'Adige (TN), and three selected by the Leimburg Research Center (BZ). This “Cru” expresses the maximum typicality of Lagrein, with a strong link to the Trentino area.

Tasting notes

With a deep ruby ​​red color. The nose is fruity with hints of blueberry and raspberry, with an elegant floral hint of violet. On the palate it is full and persistent, with a good tannic texture and excellent body.

Ideal to accompany 24 or 30 month old Trentingrana.

Production method

After a good stay on the pomace, the wine first matures for 12 months in large oak barrels and then refines for 6 months in the bottle.
