Note di degustazione
The Lagrein "Amperg" 2020 by Klaus Lentsch is characterized by a robust structure and an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. On the nose there are notes of ripe berries, plum, cherry and a light hint of spices and chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full and velvety, with soft and well-integrated tannins, and a long and persistent aftertaste that enhances the freshness and minerality typical of the South Tyrolean terroir.

Metodo di produzione
Lagrein grapes are harvested manually from vineyards located in the best wine-growing areas of Alto Adige, in particular on porphyritic soils near the valley floor in Bassa Atesina. After a cold maceration to best extract the aromas and colours, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine matures for approximately two years, one of which in oak barrels, to further refine the aromatic and structural profile, before being bottled. Thanks to the combination of warm days and windy evenings, the native variety develops a beautiful fullness and fresh acidity, ensuring a high quality wine capable of best expressing the characteristics of the vine and the territory.
