Chardonnay grappa comes from one of the most widespread and considered international vines in oenology, which finds large spaces for still wines and sparkling wines on the hills of Trentino. For over 170 years, the Dolzan family has continued the tradition of distillation in the wonderful mountains of Trentino, giving great attention and respect to nature and ancient mountain works.

Tasting notes

With a brilliant, crystalline and transparent colour. On the nose it is broad and varied with delicate fruity hints of golden apple, apricot, citrus fruits and hazelnuts, memories of honey and yellow flowers. The taste is soft and harmonious, with a reference to the crust of fresh bread and honey and a persistent finish.

Try it in combination with a good coffee or fruit desserts.

Production method

After having scrupulously selected the best grapes, a slow distillation follows in discontinuous cycle copper stills, typical of Trentino. This phase, followed by the master distiller who cuts the head and tail, is essential to preserve the precious characteristics and aromas of the vine. After distillation, the grappa rests in stainless steel for six months, before being reduced in alcohol content with spring water from Trentino and then bottled.
