Champagne AOC Brut Carte Noire Cru Vandières - Delouvin Nowack

Champagne AOC Brut Carte Noire Cru Vandières - Delouvin Nowack

The Delouvin and Nowack families have a long history in the world of Champagne wine, starting as winemakers and coopers, and consolidated with the birth of the Champagnes de Vigneron in the 1930s. Located in the heart of the Marne Valley, the Delouvin Nowack estate extends over 7.25 hectares, spread over 36 hillside plots in Vandières, all planted in a mosaic of different soils that give their Champagnes a unique complexity. The estate, now led by Bertand who embodies the eleventh generation, stands out for its cultivation of Meunier, which finds its ideal area in the Marne Valley, and for its sustainable approach to vineyard management.

Production method

The vinification of Champagne AOC Brut Carte Noire Cru Vandières follows the traditional methods of Champagne, with fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels. The grapes come exclusively from the estate vineyards in Vandières, grown without herbicides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers, with a strong commitment to sustainability and respect for the terroir. After the first fermentation of 9 months in steel tanks, it is left on the lees in the bottle for 24 months. After disgorgement and the addition of a blend of old vintages, the bottles are put on the market to be finally appreciated.
