Format

Lab25 is an Italian craft microbrewery between the city of Crema and Valsugana in Trentino that stands out not only for the quality of its beers, but also for its social commitment. Blanche de Noir is a perfect example of this approach, as it uses Madagascar pepper harvested through Kukula Onlus' sustainable development projects. This collaboration supports local communities in Madagascar, improving the living conditions of agricultural workers and promoting ethical agricultural practices. Lab25 not only offers excellent craft beer, but actively contributes to social change.

Tasting notes

Blanche de Noir has a straw yellow color and a slight cloudiness, typical of the blanche style. On the nose, fresh aromas of citrus, coriander and a light spicy note from Madagascar pepper emerge. On the palate, it is delicate and refreshing, with a sweetness balanced by the contained bitterness, while the spices offer a subtle complexity that enriches the drink.

Pairings

This beer pairs beautifully with light, fresh dishes. Try it with a swordfish carpaccio or a rocket salad with parmesan shavings and dried fruit. It is also perfect with sushi and sashimi, where the freshness of the beer enhances the flavor of the raw fish. Alternatively, pair it with fresh cheeses such as goat cheese or buffalo mozzarella, or a pizza bianca with grilled vegetables and truffle oil for a surprising contrast.

Production method

Blanche de Noir is produced following the traditional techniques of blanche beers, with the addition of special ingredients such as Madagascar pepper, selected thanks to the projects of Kukula Onlus. During brewing, the fresh aroma of coriander and citrus fruits is preserved, in addition to the delicate spiciness of pepper, guaranteeing a light beer, rich in nuances and with excellent drinkability.
