On this splendid spring day I accompany you along the Alto Adige Wine Route, to discover the Klaus Lentsch winery.
Klaus comes from a long family tradition of winemakers and in 2008 he decided to found his own winery, giving life to an independent project, purchasing his first vineyard of Grüner Veltliner, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir in Campodazzo.
Over the years, he has expanded his viticultural heritage with the family vineyards in Bronzolo, where he grows Lagrein and Pinot Grigio. In 2013 he realized his dream of building a modern company headquarters in San Paolo (BZ), surrounded by his vineyards, where they dedicate themselves to the cultivation of varieties such as Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer and Moscato Giallo.
With the enthusiasm and competence of Massimiliano, a winemaker here for two and a half years, we explored the company, where each wine is produced with attention and dedication. Of course we tasted all the wines currently produced by the company, as well as some older vintages of Grüner Veltliner and Yellow Moscato which really surprised us!
Among the various labels, it was the Cuveé Syví of the classic line that won me over: a playful, fresh and versatile wine, perfect for hot spring or summer days, to be enjoyed in company by the pool.
